2019 In Hell

2019 is here and there will be major New Year’s parties going on. There will be many people who will die on New Year’s Eve and start 2019 off in Hell. According to Safe Auto 140 people on average die in drunk driving accidents every New Year’s Eve. This is just drunk driving, many will die from alcohol poisoning, drug use, and violence related to intoxication. Hell enlarges itself every New Year’s Eve.

“9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

It won’t just be drunkenness on New Year’s Eve. There will also be a spike in other sin levels, all which lead to Hell. Someone may decide to relax and smoke some weed and end up getting a joint laced with fentanyl, dying and in a moment be standing before God without being saved. Someone may be at an all night party and commit adultery and get AIDS and spread it to their innocent spouse. Satan loves nights like these. While it is not a sin to celebrate a new year coming, it certainly is sinful to use the occasion as an excuse or opportunity to sin which most will do. Some people who are good hearted, hard working, and not partying or getting drunk will get caught in the cross fire of sin and die in DUI accidents that are not their fault and still go to Hell because they have not yet made up their minds and received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They thought that they had plenty of time to figure things out and put off repenting and getting saved but it did not work out that way.

“(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” 2 Corinthians 6:2

Something happened that was so important 2019 years ago that they began to mark the years and that was Jesus Christ. 2019 years seems like such a long time ago. People that end up dying and going to Hell on New Year’s Eve going into 2019 will still be in Hell in the year 2099. In the year 4019 they will still be burning in Hell. In the year 25019 they will still be in Hell. In the year 200000019 they will still be burning in Hell because they enjoyed getting drunk, fornicating and doing drugs for a couple decades on earth rather than denying themselves and repenting and becoming born again by receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to have eternity in paradise with Him.

“Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” 2 Thessalonians 1:9

Just think, there are people alive right now at this moment that will be dead and in Hell by the morning of January 1, 2019. Young, vibrant people with a whole life ahead of them will be dead due to sin. Will it be worth it? You can make a “New Year’s Resolution” right now and that is to realize that you are in desperate need of a savior and that savior is only Jesus Christ who by His Blood gives eternal life. Repent from the sin that is dragging you to Hell and trust Jesus who supernaturally can free you from any and all addictions and bondage that you may be in. That way if you are an innocent person that dies suddenly you will be in Heaven and still be there in the year 200000019. When you think of the time and eternity it becomes very sobering, Jesus wants to save you and is the only one that can save from Hell!

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Acts 3:19

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36
